Most Quran apps try to do everything at once: tafsir panels, word-by-word grammar, multiple reciters, social features, prayer times, accounts. Quran Gallery shows you one page at a time, in the script it was written in, the way a printed mushaf does.
Open a page, read it, turn to the next one. The English translation sits right underneath if you want it, and tapping it hides it if you don't. There's no account to create, and nothing about your reading gets sent anywhere. Your last page and bookmark live only in your browser's local storage.
Where the text comes from
The Arabic text is the Uthmani script maintained by the Tanzil project. The English translation is Saheeh International. Both come through the free, open alquran.cloud API. Recitation audio is Mishary Alafasy, streamed from the islamic.network CDN. Quran Gallery pulled this data once and stores its own copy, so the site keeps working even when those services are slow or unreachable.
